Services in detail

Each service comes with a typical example and what you walk away with. If your situation looks different, we can talk it through on the intro call.

Plan

Strategy, decisions, target state

IT, digital, data and AI strategy

Example
Your company wants to grow, your IT needs an overhaul, and the business expects AI-powered solutions. I translate your business goals into strategic options, assess prerequisites and trade-offs, and work with you to decide which capabilities to build, buy or deliberately put on hold.
What you get
A strategy that makes the case for your investments and priorities and spells out what IT, data and AI should contribute to the business.

Technology roadmap and prioritization

Example
A new ERP system, a data platform and several AI ideas are competing for budget and key people. I weigh value, effort and dependencies, such as which application needs reliable ERP data first, and put the initiatives in a sensible order.
What you get
A one- to three-year roadmap that shows what comes first, what can wait and what has to be in place before each step, with investments, phases and decision points that fit together.

IT architecture and target state

Example
New offerings require changes across several systems, the same data is maintained in multiple places, and integrations are hard to keep running. Together with your IT team, I work out which systems should handle which tasks going forward and how to manage the transition.
What you get
A target architecture that defines system boundaries, data flows and how your IT landscape will be rebuilt step by step.

Software and vendor selection

Example
You need a new CRM, and every demo makes the product look like a perfect fit. I have vendors walk through your most important workflows and compare integration, total cost of ownership and vendor lock-in. I support you through proposal review, selection and negotiation.
What you get
A well-founded recommendation that shows which solution fits functionally and strategically, what it will cost over its lifetime and which commitments you are taking on.

Investment proposals and decision papers

Example
Your ERP system needs to be replaced. You have the vendor’s quote, but internal effort, migration and the impact on operations are still unclear. Working with IT, the business units and finance, I establish the total cost, assess alternatives and build the case for the investment.
What you get
A decision-ready proposal that lays out benefits, funding needs and risks clearly enough for executive management or the board to approve the budget.

Reviews, second opinions and IT due diligence

Example
You are evaluating an acquisition, or you have doubts about whether an ongoing IT project is on track. I review documents, systems and contracts and talk to the people in charge.
What you get
An independent assessment with prioritized risks, potential follow-on costs and specific action items to base your decision on.

Steer

PMO, programs, portfolio

PMO and program management

Example
Each project is making progress on its own, but shared milestones are slipping out of reach. I set up program governance, clarify dependencies and responsibilities, and bring budget, risks and open decisions together in one place.
What you get
A program you can actually steer, with a reliable overall status, early warning of bottlenecks and decisions prepared in time.

Project portfolio and capacity management

Example
Too many projects are running at once, the same key people are needed everywhere, and little gets finished. I map the initiatives and the capacity they require, assess priorities with executive management and decide what continues, what waits and what stops.
What you get
A portfolio that matches your available capacity, with clear priorities and a regular cadence for reviewing them.

Requirements and business analysis

Example
A business unit is asking for a new application, but workflows, edge cases and responsibilities have not been fully worked out. I analyze the process with the people involved, separate actual needs from preferred solutions and define testable acceptance criteria.
What you get
Agreed requirements and acceptance criteria that vendors can base solid quotes on and that the business and IT can use to evaluate what gets delivered.

Partner and vendor management

Example
Your implementation partner keeps billing more hours, but visible progress is lagging. I check deliverables against what was agreed, push back on extra effort and work out changes, acceptance criteria and necessary fixes with the partner.
What you get
Visibility into performance, costs and open commitments, plus someone with technical depth who represents your interests.

Executive communication, stakeholder management and workshops

Example
Executive management, the business units and IT see an initiative differently, and a decision is stalled. I pin down the points of disagreement, translate technical questions into business consequences and guide everyone through the trade-offs that need to be made.
What you get
A shared understanding of the options, resolved points of conflict and documented decisions with clear owners and next steps.

Build

AI, software and data

Agentic coding and AI solutions

Software development with coding agents: web apps, internal tools and prototypes

Example
A spreadsheet setup that has grown over the years runs much of your daily work: data is copied back and forth, information is hard to find and every step takes manual effort. Using coding agents, I build a lean, easy-to-use application with search and automated workflows, and refine it with you in short feedback cycles.
What you get
A first prototype within days that you can try out right away and help shape. We align with your IT team on integration early, so the prototype quickly becomes a tool you use every day.

Agentic coding enablement for teams

Example
Some people on your team use coding agents heavily, others barely or poorly, often on personal accounts, and there are no shared practices. I work with your team on real tasks from your codebase and put templates and rules in place for project context, data privacy, testing and code reviews.
What you get
A team that uses coding agents consistently and within your IT policies. The applications it builds run reliably, stay maintainable, and can be handed over to others and integrated into your IT.

Integrating AI solutions and taking them to production

Example
An AI prototype has been well received, and now it needs to work reliably in day-to-day use. I test it against real-world cases, integrate it into your workflows and systems together with your IT team, and sort out hosting, access, data privacy, error handling and maintenance.
What you get
An AI solution in production with clear ownership, monitored quality and costs, documented code and an orderly handover to the operations team.

Data platforms and analytics

In-depth data analysis and visualization

Example
You suspect certain factors explain customer churn or swings in quality. The data is extensive, the relationships are complex, and no one in-house has time for a deep dive. I test your hypotheses with statistical methods and models and present the results in a clear, visual way.
What you get
Solid answers to complex questions, with a clear sense of how much weight the findings can carry, plus visualizations and presentations you can use for decisions and internal communication.

Data platforms and data warehouses: design and implementation support

Example
Reporting and AI initiatives need the same data from ERP, CRM and other sources. Together with your IT team, I design the platform, for example on Microsoft Fabric, start with one concrete use case, connect the first sources and coordinate the implementation partner.
What you get
A data foundation you can expand step by step, with a first use case already in use, shared data definitions and a plan for what comes next.

Hire

Job profiles and candidate selection

Job descriptions from a business and IT perspective

Example
You are looking for a data engineer, software developer, AI specialist or business analyst. I work with you to sharpen the responsibilities and requirements and write the job posting with the right terminology and nuance, so the people you want recognize themselves in it and the role comes across as attractive and realistic.
What you get
A precise job description that your target candidates can find, understand and relate to more easily, laying the groundwork for relevant applications.

Interview design and case studies

Example
A candidate looks promising on paper, but some of their experience and skills deserve a closer look. Together with HR or your recruiters, I develop targeted questions for that person, flag the points to probe and put together a short case study tailored to the role.
What you get
A well-prepared interview with a technical second opinion on what to probe, plus shared evaluation criteria so results are comparable.

Application screening and shortlisting

Example
Plenty of applications list the technologies you are looking for, but only a few fit the job. I review the profiles for relevant project experience, actual responsibility and technical depth, and tell genuine experience apart from buzzwords and AI-generated content.
What you get
A well-reasoned shortlist of the most promising candidates, with open questions for the interviews, so you can spend your time on the right people.

Selection and technical assessment

Example
Several candidates are on the shortlist, and opinions differ. I sit in on the technical interviews, probe what each person actually contributed to past projects and evaluate the case studies against the requirements of your role.
What you get
An independent technical assessment of each candidate, covering strengths, open questions and development needs, to support your hiring decision and the onboarding that follows.
